We will look at your existing website and pull out about 200 keywords. These should be keyword phrases that are specific to your business. We will then use Google to tell us what volume of search traffic every month there is for these keywords. We will also put next to each keyword phrase your current web sites ranking. In theory this is what you are most likely to be already optimised for if at all.

It should be noted that this gives you a good idea on what level of business there is out there but as part of our SEO plans we do a very detailed keyword analysis which looks at most keyword phrases, volumes of searching, current rank, competitors and the difficulty of achieving page 1 rankings for them. The more difficult the more time it could take and some phrases may not be worth the time. We are looking for high search / low competition phrases. When looking at the competitive landscape we compare competitors levels of back links, page ranks and natural traffic done by offline advertising. This tells us what we have to do to beat them.
