“…we were informed that it may take up to 6 months to start seeing the results from the SEO but we have found this happened within 3 months. With a number of the search terms that we have optimised we have seen a marked increase in sales on those particular product categories…”

Pay Per Click Campaign (PPC)
If you decide you need some instant traffic PPC is a good idea. Some customers continue to use PPC when the SEO is working as part of their long term Campaign. At certain times of the year its useful to increase the traffic. For example, if you are selling Christmas presents online then good SEO is fine but also being everywhere with PPC is also a good idea to capitalise on the short selling period. If you need immediate traffic then order a PPC for the first 6 months as well as the SEO plan. SEO is much better value for money than PPC usually.
PPC has to be managed and balanced with the cost of acquisition. If you only make £1 an item but it costs you £1 PPC to get an order then what is the point unless you can upsell or make add on sales. It may be better to be No.3 than No.1 for PPC, the advert should be unique, the keywords will need investigating properly, maybe a special landing page needs creating to maximise the result from that particular search. You still need to be relevant even for PPC. We can offer a PPC service on a monthly basis.
We think a min budget of £1000 per month is reasonable with a 1st month management charge of £650 and then a monthly management charge of £250 per month. For budgets bigger than £1000 per month our management charge is 25% per month. The cost of this more than pays for itself as not managing a PPC Campaign properly is as good as burning the budget. For example, Google can remove your advert if not enough people click on it even if you are the highest bidder. You may not get any traffic and wonder why even when you are the highest bidder. There is also PPC fraud where people click on you advert to use up your budget so they move up the list. Without management there are lots of holes to fall down. Its better to let someone who specialises in this area manage it for you.
Reports will be created on the effectiveness of the PPC on a monthly basis similar to SEO.
