We also provide reliable hosting for a Web Site / eCommerce Site at £300.00 / £600.00 + VAT PA. This includes web space and a MySQL database. However, it should be noted that the actual cost of hosting your site will depend on the traffic it gets. This is our entry level cost for both types of site. We will discuss your hosting with you should the traffic become a lot more, the speed become an issue or your database becomes large.

Google says that a 0.5 second delay in the page load speed of your website can reduce traffic by 20%. Note that we will expect you to keep your DNS record where it is now and to keep your email as it is now. This cost is for web site hosting and is not email provision. We presume you have an email account and domain name already and this is being provided by your current ISP. We can setup POP3 email accounts and can recommend a hardware company to deal with SMTP email requirements. It should be noted that there will be extra costs for email provision if required.

Note we use UKFAST and have our own Dedicated Servers under Managed hosting. This is a costly service but provides full backup/restore and support services. A lot of cheap hosting does not provide the support or backup of the site. You get what you pay for and we will not offer anything less.

UK FAST as part of their service provide full back ups of our servers and so your web site or shop is done every day. They have managed Cisco ASA firewalls and apply server maintenance and patch updates as released. They do proactive uptime monitoring and capacity threshold monitoring®. We are alerted if there are any bottle necks so we can sort them out before we have a problem or it affects your website. McAfee® anti-virus is used on the server and we have annual security audits.
